Shipping 

Get FREE SHIPPING to most destinations in Canada (except NWT, Nunavut & Yukon) when you order over $135 CDN (before applicable taxes) and less than 5kg in weight. Some size limitations may apply. Email us at info@mytoolshop.ca for more information. Free shipping will be on ground and will be the shipper of our choice.

If your order is over $135 (before applicable taxes) and does not exceed our maximum weight requirement, we will ship your order for  FREE! It’s our way of saying “Thanks for your support!!”. 

We can also ship orders under $135 across Canada at very affordable rates. You can get accurate shipping costs during checkout prior to payment. Please email us for more information.

Sale items do not qualify for free shipping.

Returns/Exchanges

At My Tool Shop, we stand behind our products but understand life happens!

Returns may happen for different reasons so to simplify this process; we offer a 14-day return policy (with exemptions). Applicable items must be in their original packaging, unused and in re-sellable condition to avoid restocking fees.

We will be unable to process returns/exchanges after 14 days of the purchase date. Items that show any modifications or abuse will not be considered for returns or exchanges. A minimum 15% restocking fee may apply to returns that fall outside of these guidelines and will be at the sole discretion of My Tool Shop.

*Auto Specialty Tools are not eligible for returns or exchanges. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that they are ordering the right tool for their application. All Auto Specialty Tools have been tested by the manufacturer for specific applications and will not fit other applications they were not designed for.

Return Process  (if applicable)

To initiate a return/exchange, please email info@mytoolshop.ca with proof of purchase, photos if possible and reason for the return/exchange. 

Please do not send the items back without a return approval from My Tool Shop. Customers will be responsible for the return shipping expenses. If shipping an item over $100, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive the returned item. My Tool Shop is not responsible for returned items that are lost or damaged during shipping.

Items may also be returned in person to our store following the same required guidelines for returned purchases listed above.

Shipping costs of the original purchase are non-refundable: If the items were purchased with our free shipping program, we will refund you the cost of the item less the original shipping cost unless your remaining purchases still meet our minimum purchase free shopping option.

We only replace items if they are defective, still in their original packaging or shipped by us in error.

Once the returned item(s) are received, the customer will be emailed to confirm that the item(s) have been received.

After inspection, the customer will be notified of the approval of their refund. If the returned item(s) are deemed not eligible for a refund (eg. due to damage or abuse), the refund will not be processed and the tool can be shipped back at the customer’s expense.

If the items are approved for a refund, the refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to the customer’s original method of payment within 3 business days. Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable.  

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged. All sale items are final sale.
